Hello! Welcome to our blog which is mainly focused on the gardening we enjoy on our little patch of land in the south west of England, but from time to time also includes posts about our home, days out and cooking among other things.

We’re a newly married couple and this is our first home, and our first garden of our own. We’re making loads of mistakes along the way but having a great time, so if you want to share any advice or ideas with us we are all ears!

In spring 2015 we’re embarking on a new adventure as we begin bee-keeping – a pastime much enjoyed by Katrina’s grandparents who paid for us to attend Bath Bee-keeper’s ‘getting started’ course as our wedding gift. We’re really excited to get started, and you’ll be able to see our learning and progress here on our blog as we go along.

We live in a tiny village (a hamlet really) in south west England, just outside the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath. We’re phenomenally lucky to live in such a stunning part of the world, with the city ten minutes away but surrounded by fields, farms and woodland.
